The perfect way to make those thanksgiving leftovers into a delicious lunch!

Ingredients

  • Roast Turkey, ideally thinly sliced turkey breast from the night before

  • Stuffing

  • Cranberry sauce

  • French's fried onions

  • Turkey Gravy

  • Mayo (we prefer Avocado Mayo)

  • Sandwich bread (we prefer whole wheat, but any bread will do)

  • Butter (or oil spray)

Directions

  1. Build: Spread mayo on both slices of bread. On one slice, put 2-3 slices of roast turkey breast topped with ~2 tbspn cranberry sauce. Top with a layer of fried onions. On the other slice of bread, layer on stuffing as thick as your turkey slices. Put sandwich together

  2. Grill: Heat a nonstick frying pan (or grill or panini press) on medium heat. Add butter or oil spray, then place sandwich on pan. Add something heavy that will balance on top - we use a cast iron skillet. Let brown like you would a grilled cheese, for approximately a minute. Flip sandwich with a spatula, spray pan and brown the other side the same way.

  3. Serve: Remove sandwich from pan, cut in half and serve with a side of leftover gravy for dipping
