1 grade a egg
Real butter
1 slice American cheese (real… not processed cheese food)

non stick cooking spray
Pillsbury® Grands ready to bake biscuits - one biscuit per sandwich OR english muffins OR small bagels

brush - really helps
spatula
Directions
Make Bread:
for english muffin: Pre-heat an electric griddle to 275 degrees. Toast your English muffin by laying both sides face down on the griddle and applying pressure. This takes about 1 to 1.5 minutes. (they should be medium brown) Set aside. Butter both toasted halves of the English muffin liberally with melted butter.
for the biscuit: cook biscuit according to directions, except halfway through baking brush enough melted butter to coat the top of each biscuit. (cut a sliver of butter from a butter stick, stick in the microwave for 10s and use a brush). be very careful not to burn the bottom of the biscuit (use the highest rack). in my convention oven, cooking the biscuit took half the time it said it would. you basically want to take it out the second it starts to brown on the top - you can take it out, cut it in half and check that no dough is uncooked to verify
Put a slice of American cheese on the bottom half.
Lay your egg ring on the pre-heated grill (or a small frying pan on medium-low heat). Spray the inside of the ring and the griddle inside the ring with Pam to prevent sticking. While pushing down on the egg ring (if not weighted), crack the egg and pour into egg ring on the grill. Poke the yolk with a sharp instrument so it flows. Keep pushing down on the ring for 30s-1m, until the egg whites no longer run from underneath
About 2 1/2 minutes after you started cooking the egg, the whites should firm up, and the yolk should still be a bit "liquidy". Carefully remove the ring, leaving the egg on the griddle. (you may have to "slice" around the edges if it sticks). Then, using a spatula, very carefully turn the egg over
Now, lay one slice of Canadian bacon or sausage on the griddle. cook the bacon for 30s-1m, or the sausage as directed (usually 5-8m)
Wait for a few minutes more for the egg to be cooked (but not burnt), then take it off the griddle and place it on the cheesed muffin/biscuit. Add meat, then top off with the top half of the muffin/biscuit.
Wrap in pre-cut wax paper (fold sides to a tube, fold corners in, to make an airtight-ish package). Let stand 5 minutes, then microwave 12 second on high, and eat.
